Steve Madden Women's Smoken Knee High Boot cognac Nubuck

These boots looked so cool in the photo-however, big disappointment when they came. The color was not
as rich as I expected from what the computer showed- I thought it would be a rich cognac amber color but instead
it was like a pale blah yellowish tan- the craftsmanship left a lot to be desired on these for the price tag
they are asking. More like a 70 dollar boot than the steep price they were selling for. Overall, a nice
height on these boots-just cheap looking and not the quality I was expecting. The 'bling' around the ankle was
tacky looking as well. There isn't much praise for an expensive boot that is made cheaply and looks it...so they
were promptly returned.

LOVE these boots!!

I had been looking for a pair of boots in this color forever, but couldn't ever find any I really liked in my size... until now, that is!! These are perfect! They are super comfortable and so cute! I just want to wear them with everything!!! ;)

Smoken Awesome!!

Been looking at over the knee boots for 2 years. Just got the "Smoken" and LOVE IT!!. I usually wear a 10.5 wide in womens shoes and the 10 in this boot fits fine...so it seems to run a little big and wide, great for me!!. I'm 56 years old, 5'7", size 10, athletic build with well developed calves. I can still zip the boot up over jeans with no trouble so ladies blessed with twiggy legs may find the shaft of this boot too big. They do smell like leather which is just fine. Over all, I've had good luck with the Steve Madden brand. I think you get what you pay for. I've worn more expensive boots (Frye) and had major issues with fit and comfort. Not so with Madden boots. This is my 4th pair of Madden boots and they've all been comfortable right out of the box. I feel the "Smokin" is a casual boot so if you're looking for dressy....look elsewhere!. Best with jeans or some other casual look. If you don't like the ankle straps, they can be taken off the boot for a chance to do your own customization....fun!! Have the black nubuck thinking of getting the tan nubuck.
