Versatile

Love these. I only wanted to buy one pair of new boots this year, so I was looking for a pair that are versatile. I definitely found that in these boots. I wanted something interesting and kind of vintage. I also wanted to avoid the shiny, polished-black, overly-tailored, "classic" look-- but I needed something that can be worn with dresses and other work clothes without looking too fussy or dressed down. I bought these in black, and the beautiful pebbled leather and brown stack heel add character. They look like a pair of "vintage" leather boots, so they're casual when they need to be- but because of the perfect heel height, simple profile, and well cut design, they'll look great for lots of work environments.
In terms of fit and comfort-- I am either an 8.5 and a 9, and I ordered the 9- it fits very well in the foot. I would say if you are between sizes, go with the bigger one. I also have larger calves, so I expected them to be a pretty tight fit in the calf, and they are. If you have average calves- these will be perfect. If you have larger calves, you might be taking a gamble. I'm pretty borderline- I don't have to have wide calf boots, but there are certainly some boots won't zip up on me. These *just* barely fit with jeans tucked in (and I suspect they'll stretch a tiny bit.) But that close fit combined with the heel also means they have a nice shape with dresses and tights. The heel gives a nice, flattering lift- not too much and not too little. They are so stable and comfortable to walk in, and I think I prefer a heel like this to super flat riding boots.

Beautiful boots!

I ordered these boots in Red, and they are absolutely gorgeous! And super comfortable. They look great with skirts and tucked into jeans. I received 2 compliments on them the first time I wore them! So glad that I have these in my wardrobe for fall!

These fit like a glove! Im a Seychelles lover to begin with, but these are my new favorite boots. I might have to get the red ones too!
