Cute with some reservations

I had high hopes for these boots. And I really did like them--the materials seemed high-quality, the dark brown color was gorgeous, and the floral lining was a nice touch.
Ultimately, however, I wound up returning them. The fold-over part at the top of the boot does not lie flat like it does in the product images. Instead, the edges flare out on the sides, and there's no way to keep them pinned down. When worn with jeans or pants tucked in, it definitely made my calves look wider...and I have scrawny calves as it is. So if your calves have some shape to them already, this might not be the most flattering boot.
The flared fold-over part also made me feel a bit like Robin Hood, so there's that.
Every pair of Seychelles shoes I've tried on has run a half-size large, so I ordered these in a 7 instead of the 7.5 that I wear in most other brands. The 7 fit, but if you're planning to wear them with especially thick socks, stick with your usual size.

The leather is soooo soft

These boots are cute and most of all the leather is amazingly soft. I thought they fit true to size and were easy to get on and off. They look just like the picture. The leather is not stiff and brand new looking...it has more of a vintage look, but in my opinion not "distressed" either. I bought them a bit off season, so I am looking forward to lots of wear with my casual fall and winter outfits.

I Love this boots! They look even better than the picture! They are súper comfortable and the material is great to I'm usually size 9 or 9,5 and because They were out of 9,5 I end Up ordering them in 9 and They fit great! I'm thinking in buying another pair in Brown!
