Beautiful, Chic Boot With A Touch Of Luxury

I have just received my first pair of Pour La Victoire boots and overall, I am very pleased. They are a true olive in color, slightly different to the color depicted on the Amazon website and other websites I have visited. To be honest, I was disappointed with the color when I first took them out of the box, but the color has grown on me and I now love the olive color.
Depending on the brand, I wear a 9½M - 10M. After researching several size charts on various websites I was tempted to order the 9½M, but I ordered the 10M and I am very glad that I did. With 13 inch calves, gaping at the top of the shaft can be a problem with other boots I own. However, with these boots, the 3 straps can be adjusted for a firmer fit.
I have skinny ankles, so the fit is slightly large. Inserting a pair of heel grips will ensure a firmer fit around the ankles. The toe box feels a bit tight, but given the high grade of leather which is soft and supple, I am confident that the boot will stretch after wear. I am 5'7" tall with 17 inch high calves, so the top of the boot does sit below my knees. The actual shaft height for my size 10M is 16 inches and the boot opening is 15½ inches. Height of shaft and width of opening tends to vary with different sizes.
Footbed is very comfortable and delivers the excellent arch support that I need. Good shock absorption is provided by the thick rubber sole.
In the main, this is a very comfortable and stylish boot. Quality and workmanship of leather is very high, as expected for a more expensive brand. The manufacturer states that the collection is Brazilian made, but this boot is actually made in China, as stated on the Amazon website. Regardless of where it is made, it is very well designed and crafted.
What impressed me most about this boot was the style. The outside zipper and the 3 gold buckles provide an on-trend design which looks so chic. Dress up or down for so many great looks. Fabulous with a short skirt, dress or skinny leg jeans. Glam it up with a short, leather jacket. Whether you're shopping, traveling the globe, or having a night out on the town, this comfortable and classy boot will have you stepping out in style.
I was very fortunate to buy the Pour La Victoire Voxen Boot in olive at a sensational price from MYHABIT. As I love this style so much, I am seriously, considering buying another pair in black. I would highly recommend this particular boot to anyone who is searching for a very comfortable boot with a classy and luxurious look.
