Comfortable as an old slipper

Once again, I found the best price on Amazon--Nieman Marcus wanted $550 plus tax/shipping and I got them in 2 days because I'm a Amazon Prime member--so I shop at NM but buy at Amazon. Anyway, about the boots, I agree with another reviewer that, while my calves are not particularly wide, I have to be very slow when zipping them up as the shaft is very narrow. Before I even tried to put them on, I was somewhat concerned when I noticed small white sections along the stitching of the seams. I worry that, over time, these areas will give way to gaps. However, once zipped, the shaft and footbed are more comfortable than any of my other, fully "broken in" boots.
