Beautiful Frye neutral boot

This boot was a great height, hit right below the knee (I am 5'7" 123lbs), wasn't too large in the shaft, and the toe box was roomy. I did find that they ran large, and my heel would raise up when I walked in them. For that, I would suggest sizing down a 1/2 size, especially if you have narrow feel and calves. I didn't end up keeping them, as the color available matched another pair I owned too closely. But they are a great boot that offer lots of versatility.

Beautiful boot for many styles

These boots have an unique look and great quality. They have a slightly taller heel than the Melissa button.
The shaft is taller than the Taylor boot. They appear to run true to size, but do have a smaller calf circumference than other Frye's. This is good if you are looking to wear with skirts, dresses, skinny jeans. The boot has a western look without being a cowboy style. It looks great with just about any outfit.

Gorgeous boot BUT...

Beautiful boot with quality material and workmanship as expected.
However, I was warned by another review about tight toe box and shaft -- I should have paid attention.
I am 5'3" / 135 lbs / small frame / average calves. I usually wear size 6.5 shoe so ordered 7 boot to accommodate thick winter socks. Both toes and calves are tight. I think the leather might stretch enough to be comfortable but never enough for tucking in my skinny jeans as hoped.
Even so, love this boot and Amazon Prime which shipped to my door in two days!
