Nice comfortable riding boots

The boots are nice. I really looked forward to receiving them. But when I opened the box, I was not exactly blown away by them. The opening of the shaft is a little tight because I have athletic calves.I do like the style, but for the price, I expected a higher quality of leather in the shaft of the boot. They are alright. And since I got them on sale, I will keep them.

decently made. attractive, classic style

I would agree with the previous review that the shaft of the boot could be of a better grade leather. I love the style of the boot. I bought a 9.5 which fit perfectly on the foot. The shaft, however, is much larger than anticipated & my jeans often get hung up in the gap. I am a runner/frequent exerciser so I don't have tiny calves. I thought about taking these to a cobbler just to have them taken in a little bit. We'll see. The were a decent price & as comfortable as they are, I'll be wearing them often. It is a very comfortable boot. Right after I received them in the mail, I wore them to two Christmas parties & then a concert all in one night. I was on my feet for eight hours straight & these boots were a pleasant surprise-no aches or pains.
